🍓 Take Away Icecream Tubs 🍓

Finally got ourselves sorted, we now have 885g tubs ( with a lid so you can sneak a cheeky spoonful when the kids aren’t watching ) of our Real Fruit Icecream

🍦Approximately the size of 4 of our $7 ice creams in a cone - in the tub $18

🫐 We love using what we grow or what is grown locally so will be offering the tubs in strawberry, blackberry, and blueberry, and mixed-berry. All grown here on the farm, as well as feijoa, grown locally.

🥣 These tubs will be available daily in the strawberry season from the farm, or if your keen one some now please message and we will make it happen

New rows in ✨

A bit late, but thanks to everybody who made the trip to visit the farm and support what we are doing. 🤍

It’s now heads down, tails up to try to improve on things for next season. What we are thinking….

⛱️ A nice big shade sail in the garden so there is better shade

🐐A kid friendly area where people can go in and play with the goats

🍓 Some bright photo props around the farm for photos

🐍 Eel feeding

🍦Take home tubs of ice cream

☕️ Become coffee masters !

🍔 Do we utilize our food trailer for when it’s not at an event and offer food …. Burgers, fries etc

……… Would love feedback on the food one ……

We have joined the tiny goat craze at Strawberry Hills. 🐐Meet Marshmellow and Sprout who will be at the farm in the new season giving goat cuddles 🍓❤️

🍓 We are pulling up our last patch of Monterey next week ready for new rows, however there is fruit still on the plants, so we are going to do PYO Wednesday afternoon…. Possibly another afternoon in the weekend if more come on

🍓 PYO Wednesday 11th Feb 4-6pm
🍓$15 per bucket
🍓 Bring own container to take home in
🍓 We will not have any fruit pre-picked ( we are too tired ! )

🌱 If you don’t like weeds - it’s not for you, we have stopped spraying and weeding so there are lots of weeds in this patch, if you want perfect spayed within an inch of its life, this PYO ain’t it !

🍓 Lots of perfect berries but also lots that got caught with last lot of rain, ( takes weeks to see the end of the rain/humidity impact ) so fruit is good for eating, jam, cutting up and freezing

😋 Oh should add they taste aaaamazing

🍓Update🍓

We had a good strawberry crop coming along nicely but then it rained 💧

So with the amount of rain we’ve had the fungal diseases take hold, so we are removing all that we can of those berries and hoping that with the amount of flowers we may get another flush

So if we are able to open again, we will update socials

In the mean time we are picking our small blackberry patch and loading the freezer for delicious blackberry ice-creams. ( just ordered 200 more blackberry plants so we can have a decent sized patch for PYO 🙌)

This will be one of our very last PYO’s for the season, so come relax, walk to the water fall, let the kids play

🫐Limited quantities of blueberries and blackberries for PYO ( this will be plants very first go at PYO )

All fruit is spray free at present
