"Let's go for a drive" we said. And so, randomly, we found ourselves exploring the local Motueka Valley. Crossing the 80m long swingbridge over the Motueka River, I took this photo of snow clouds over Kahurangi National Park.
We are so fortunate to live in this magical part of NZ, surrounded by 3 national parks, beaches, wineries, cycle trails.

Ahhh, summer! Can you see yourself holidaying here?
We love sharing our slice of Nelson/Abel Tasman paradise - why else did we move here 35 years ago? Copper Gate eco-house nestles on 7 acres of fields and orchards beside Māpua seaside village between Nelson and Abel Tasman National Park.
Soon, we'll be swimming at our local beaches, we'll be hypnotised by the tide easing in and out at the Māpua Wharf, we'll be enjoying coffee at one of the cafes there, we'll be cycling Tasman's Great Taste Trail, we'll be cruising in to Abel Tasman - maybe with Abel Tasman Sea Shuttle.
