Our winter break has arrived. Caravan is closed for August.

Maintenance was waiting.
Rest is calling.
Carpark is upgrading (thanks KDC).

But we are still churning gelato and if you get in touch we can make sure it finds its way into your (surprisingly warm for winter) hands.

Looks like we will be rained out tomorrow and we have more gelato than we can eat over the winter holidays!

It is beautiful today at Mangawhai Estuary but not conducive to passing gelato out of a caravan. We went for an early morning reccy and discovered the wind is simply too windy.

If you have a great hat and a coat it's worth getting out amongst it before the rain arrives.

Stay safe and we will see you on Friday.
Of course get in touch for delivery if you need it in the meantime.

Hey friends, this is our last Wednesday & Thursday as we prepare to slow down for winter.

There are plenty of favourites in today and we will still be here Friday to Sunday with DELICIOUS gelato, peppy coffee, decadent affogato, and a variety of hot drinks to sustain you through the cooler months.

If the weather allows we will also be open this Monday 1st June public holiday 👑

Today we said goodbye to a beautiful family who have been part of our weekly routine this year.
A discerning (sorry there was no liquorice today) and adventurous bunch living their best lives, here in the southern summer and in their homeland of Canada for the northern summer. 🌞

Today our farewell was made extra special by this AMAZING lego ice cream van 🤩🩷
