Big smiles here! Nick was named Hospitality Industry Leader of the Year, sponsored by DB, at the 2026 Hospitality New Zealand People’s Awards for Excellence. 🤩

In true Nick fashion, his words on the night were a reminder of everything he stands for: keep innovating, keep backing each other, and remember we’ll only succeed as an industry if we do it together 💯

If you ask the team to describe Nick, one thing comes up time and again: he’s always backing people to give it a crack. Around here, we like to reference a couple of classic Nick-isms: “Let’s fail forward.” and “I want you to challenge me on this, okay?” 💪 That’s our leader!
