Petone Working Men's Club

Petone Working Men's Club Wellington's venue of choice The Petone Club was originally formed in August 1887 and holds a prestigious Queens Charter.

Though steeped in tradition the Club has modern facilities including a Members Lounge, Bistro, Function Rooms, Gaming Lounge and Garden Bar to enjoy. The Petone Club is recognised as the entertainment hub of the Hutt Valley with live music from Thursday to Sunday as well as ticketed events throughout the year. We have various large screens showing sport and regular weekly activities such as Tai Ch

i, Yoga and Zumba. Members and guests can also enjoy a number of social and sporting adjuncts from 8 Ball, snooker, golf and darts through to wine appreciation, karaoke, cards and poker. The Petone Club currently has almost 8000 members with a mix of young and old, families and singles from all walks of life offering something for all interests in a safe and convivial environment.
