Super Saturday - Rugby, Rugby & Live Music! 🏉🤘 🎸

Kirwee is going off this Saturday - Kirwee Rugby Football Club has their annual Club day so head down for some super club footy and great hospitality all day.

Then head to Thirsty Acres to catch the Hurricanes v Blues semi final live, followed by Live Music with the legendary Antony Pickard, lead singer of Headrush, who will finish the night off in style.

A fun night at our recent Thirsty Acres Dinner Club Wagyu Experience 🥩

Southern Stations Wagyu provided incredible NZ raised Wagyu beef, and Chef Thom and his team produced a superb menu to showcase the local product. All matched with delicious wines from our friends at Eurovintage Wines & Spirits

Thanks to Krystal and Michael from Southern Stations for sharing your extensive knowledge of Wagyu in NZ, and to James from Eurovintage for introducing the wine matches throughout the evening.

Community Fundraiser - AED (Defibrillator)

Working with the Kirwee Volunteer Fire Brigade, Thirsty Acres “Thirsty Thursday” Meat Raffles for the month of June will be raising funds towards the purchase of another community defibrillator (AED)

Currently the community has one AED located at the Kirwee Rugby Club and a mobile unit with the Fire Brigade, but these life saving devices are a great asset for communities and having another location is ideal in our growing town.

Come on down and support a great cause, and go in the draw to win your share of over $500 of meat each Thursday.

Tickets $10 each on sale from 5pm, raffles drawn at 7pm.
