To our dearest salty brew family,
We’ve got a few things to share with you all.
We won the fight, the council drama has been officially put to rest and our bitter, miserable haters lost. We received an email this weekend saying that they have closed the investigation and our parking situation is sorted. We want to thank each and everyone one of you who stood by us to support our vision and create a space that everyone could enjoy in Karikari Peninsula.
Without each and every one of you Salty Brew wouldn’t be what it has become. Hearing people say this is the coolest thing to ever hit the peninsula has meant the world to us, and we’re beyond stoked to have been part of something so special!
Unfortunately we did have some more bad news thrown at us this weekend and it’s a BIG ONE! Sadly the house we’ve called a home for the last two years will now be put on the market for sale 💔 we are absolutely devastated and this obviously also means no more Salty Brew. We’re not sure what happens next but our time here on the peninsula is up and our little tribe will be on the hunt for another coastal town where the vibes are high and Salty Brew/Salty Studio will be welcomed! ((LONG TERM))
We left behind the city life and sacrificed A LOT to raise our kids here but unfortunately our long term tenancy here has been cut very short. If anyone knows of the perfect spot for our tribe to relocate let us know!!
We will still be open for now but our last day will be 23/03/25 so make sure you pop down and see us before then 💛
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for everything. This isn’t goodbye - it’s just the start of a new adventure.
Liam & Natasha
