Taken right outside TJ’s Kitchen, with that beautiful Southland sunset lighting up the sky — and somehow matching our shop perfectly.

We feel pretty lucky to call the deep south of New Zealand home. From the people who walk through our doors, to the communities that have supported us through the years, we’re incredibly grateful to be part of this place.

❤️ From 2017 to still continuing……what a journey!

TJ’s started back in 2017 with a simple dream — good food, hard work, and a place our community could enjoy. We never imagined that one little beginning would turn into the journey we’re on today. Through COVID, crazy busy nights, challenges, new shops, new faces, our food truck and plenty of unforgettable moments, we’ve kept pushing forward. But the biggest part of this journey has always been the people — our amazing customers and our incredible team. ❤️

From the very first customers who supported us in 2017 to the families, workers, farmers, tradies and friends who still walk through our doors today — thank you. Every burger ordered, every share, every recommendation and every “see you next time” has helped build TJ’s into what it is. From Invercargill, Bluff, Riverton and now Winton — we’re proud to call Southland home. 9 years, countless memories, and we’re still just getting started. 🍔❤️
