It’s time!!! It’s MONDAY!!! Let’s goo!!!
I had the absolute pleasure, no privilege, of meeting the legend that is George Motz up in welly a couple of weeks back… things got a little bit out of hand… but we all survived.
And I scored a screamer of a recipe to boot! I asked George which burger would he include in his books that he hadn’t so far.. and his answer was swift and definitive.. The Doodle from the Yankee Doodle coffee and sandwich shop which operated in New Haven from 1950 until 2008.. this week we will do our very best to honour it and recreate it as accurately as we can on the other side of the world.

Side quest.. I mentioned last week that we’d have to nudge our prices a tad to reflect our increased costs and you’ll see that on the drop today.. and across our delivery partners. I have also drastically reduced our menu options on the delivery platforms to ensure we can keep our quality where we want it to be and the wait times to a minimum. As a bonus reward for sticking with us though you will now see dynamic pricing for “pick-up” on UberEats and an option for additions in our OG,DOG and WMF burgers .. add as many patty’s or bacon rashers as your heart desires (or can take)
