From wool shed to watering hole.

The timber that makes up our bar and bar leaner was once part of Hamish & Bex’s woolshed, before finding a new home here at the Argyle.

Anthony Scott brought it all together, giving the old timber a new purpose and creating a bar with a bit of history behind it.

Now it’s yours to enjoy. So pull up, order a cold one, turn around, grab a stool and settle in for a good yarn.

We reckon this timber has got a pretty good second life.

Every Tuesday, we'll be taking you behind the bar (without actually opening it!) with a mix of throwbacks, menu updates, reno revisits, stories, and a look at everything else that goes (and has gone) on behind the scenes, now and over the years.
