LITTLE LEGENDS SATURDAY

Thousands of Hawke’s Bay kids will pull on the boots this Saturday morning at Frimley Park, while netball and hockey players take the court and field just down the road at Mitre 10 Sports Park.

When the final whistle blows, bring the family to the Garden Bar.

Lunch sorted.

Through every season, challenge and early morning start, Hawke’s Bay’s farmers and growers continue to keep our region thriving. Rural Wednesdays is our way of saying thank you.

For Jack and Charley, this initiative is personal. Having grown up in orchard families, we’ve seen firsthand the hard work, resilience and sacrifice that comes with life on the land. This is our opportunity to give back to the industry that helped shape us.

Every Wednesday, we open the Garden Bar doors to bring the rural community together — to catch up, share stories, build connections and celebrate the people behind our primary industries.

Enjoy $12 Heineken and Heineken Silver, with $3 from every pint donated to the Rural Support Trust Hawke’s Bay, helping support the incredible work they do across our region.

They’re battling the weather, the markets, the challenges and the uncertainty that come with life on the land. Yet day after day, season after season, they keep showing up. Our farmers and growers are the backbone of Hawke’s Bay, and Rural Wednesdays is our way of saying thank you.

Every Wednesday, we open the gates at Three Wise Birds Garden Bar to celebrate the people who keep our region thriving. A place to catch up, share stories, build connections, support one another and strengthen the rural community that means so much to all of us.
