To our darling Parkers.
They say the ones we love are the ones that hurt us most - We need to have THAT talk.
As with any approaching Sunday, we were so looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow. However with much sadness, we are unable to keep our date. 'Why?' You ask? Heat up your wheatie and snuggle in.
The Hamilton and Cambridge Farmers' Market Trust have prohibited the sale of particular Parker trademark products you have all come to love and expect.
Over the last 6 months, we have established the Parker brand and thrived in creating and developing an extremely well received menu. We are super chuffed about the noise we've made in such a short time and are obsessively passionate about the standard we bring to you each week.
We could have chosen to continue at the market, providing a severely restricted range of treats and morsels. This option is not tenable with Parker's philosophy and vision and we are unwilling to sway from or compromise these. Furthermore, we believe you should not be deprived your right to choose, so with heavy hearts we say 'Tata for now'.
Every rainstorm though, is an opportunity to dance - So weep you will not Honeybees! Watch this space as Parker will live on, popping down but not out.
