It might be wet outside this Sunday, but we have plenty of cosy rooms here at The Village Inn to hang out with Dad.

Bring him in, start with a drink, pick his favourite dish from the menu, then save some room for dessert as well.

Our kitchen is open all day every weekend, so no worries about having a late brunch or an impromptu early dinner either. Specials change daily, so please ask our friendly staff

🎬 NZ Mountain Film Festival — National Tour comes to Geraldine!

Sunday 6 September, the Peel Forest Outdoor Centre Charitable Trust is hosting a fundraiser screening at the Geraldine Cinema — and we're rounding the evening off with dinner here at The Village Inn.

🎟 Film: 4.00pm – 6.20pm at the Geraldine Cinema (doors 3.30pm). Tickets from $25 — book at https://forms.cloud.microsoft/r/64ps9LUY2q

🍽 Dinner: Seated from 6.45pm at The Village Inn. Three courses for $75 per person, with $10 from every meal going straight back to the Peel Forest Outdoor Centre Charitable Trust.

We've put together a cracker of a set menu — choose one dish from each course:
🍲 To start — soup of the day, lamb croquettes or sticky wings
🍖 Mains — roast of the day, pork belly, chicken sherry, grain salad or roasted eggplant
🍫 Dessert — chocolate mud cake, berry sorbet or poached pear

Vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free options right through.

Thursday is a tricky one. You’ve been grinding hard since Monday, yet Friday still hasn’t arrived!

So come to the Village Inn tonight and order a Chicken Sherry. Pan-seared chicken leg with fondant potatoes, seasonal salad, maple mustard dressing and cream sherry leek sauce.

Then come back to us on Saturday for karaoke night with Dan. You know you want to.
