Dunsandel Store & Café is looking for an experienced and reliable Chef to join our team!

About the role:

* Weekend availability is essential, with shifts between 5:00 am and 3:00 pm.
* Preparing and presenting food to a high standard.
* Planning and preparing fresh cabinet food.
* Helping develop and introduce new cabinet food items.
* Preparing menu items consistently to a high standard.
* Managing stock rotation and receiving deliveries.
* Maintaining kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.

What we’re looking for:

* Previous kitchen experience is essential.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
* Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
* Good time management and organisational skills.
* Baking experience would be an advantage.

• Previous café experience is preferred
• Barista/coffee-making experience is highly desirable

• Flexibility to work opening shifts, closing shifts, and weekends as required

We are looking for an experienced Chef to join our team.
The successful applicant must be available to work weekends between 5:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
The role includes the professional preparation and presentation of food, as well as other kitchen duties including stock rotation, receiving deliveries, cleaning, and general kitchen maintenance. The role also includes assisting with planning and preparing cabinet food, helping develop and introduce new cabinet food items, and preparing menu items to a high standard. Baking experience would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will:
Have previous kitchen experience (essential)
Be able to work independently and as part of a team
Be able to perform well under pressure
Have a positive attitude
