Throwing it back to a warm Friday evening in May for an amazing album launch party held at Burns Hall as part of DCC Ōtepoti Hou!🎶

We had the pleasure of delivering a massive sweet & savoury drop-and-go spread catered for 150 guests, packed with delicious vegan and gluten-friendly options requested by the lovely Becky, our point of contact for the event!

✨The Menu:
• Roasted Kumara Rounds (with zesty pea & mint pesto)
• Vietnamese Rice Paper Rolls
• Corn & Jalapeño Fritters
• Mini Coconut Buns (Pani Popo)
• Assorted Cupcakes & Fudgy Brownie Bites
• Fresh Fruit Picks

A huge shoutout and special thank you to my daughter Tiale for being my top assistant! From cutting out platter labels to counting every single cupcake and toothpick (and maybe sneaking a grape or two along the way ), I couldn't have pulled it together without her.

🎉Another throwback appreciation post.
Back in May, we had the absolute pleasure of catering the Pasifika Student Welcome at Trinity Catholic College on behalf of the incredible POPO team, Jenny Bennett and her wonderful team!

Working alongside Pesimina and the team to nourish the tauira and their whānau is always such an honour. To celebrate the occasion, we served up a hearty Pasifika buffet spread:

🌺 The Menu:
• Chicken Sapasui
• Lamb Coconut Curry
• Steamed Rice
• Fresh Salads (Potato Salad, Garden Salad & Coleslaw)
• Soft, fluffy Pani-Popo

Throwing it back to a beautiful, sunny Friday in May! We had the privilege of catering a full-day event for Trinity College during their staff Academic Day.

Working out of the Araiteuru Marae kitchen, we put together a massive spread for our loyal client, Corinne:

✨Morning Tea: Assorted sandwiches & wraps, sliced coconut bread, fresh fruit platters, and custom allergy-friendly boxes.

✨Lunch Buffet: A build-your-own bun station packed with fresh garden salad, potato salad, premium meats, plus hot GF gourmet sausage bites and chicken nibbles, which went fast with the hungry crowd!

Honoured to have catered for the community launch of' Staying Power', a powerful solo exhibition by John Vea, at the Dunedin Public Art Gallery, back in May of this year.

Feeding the Ōtepoti Pasifika Arts community and the Dunedin City Council advisory committee, for this special event was an absolute privilege. There is nothing better than bringing people together over good food to celebrate incredible Pasifika art.

On the menu:
• Dairy-free mini pani-popo,
• Gluten-friendly raspberry & dark chocolate brownies,
• Mini scones filled with whipped cream and berry jam,
• Fresh seasonal fruit platter.

Sweet & Savoury Morning Tea Delights!🌺

Nothing beats kicking off a special occasion with a spread made with alofa.❤️ Back during Samoa Language Week, we had the absolute honour of catering a morning tea for a very loyal client celebrating a special opening for the 'Pacific Collective Fono'.

To keep everyone well-fed and energized for the gathering, we put together a massive sweet and savoury lineup for 30 guests:

- Freshly made assorted sandwiches
- Our signature cupcakes (always the star of the show!)
- Freshly baked Pani Popo & traditional coconut bread
- Vibrant, fresh seasonal fruit platters

All prepped, packed, and ready to go right before the morning school drop-off!

We are so grateful for every opportunity to showcase our catering service, build lasting relationships within our community, and nourish the people behind these amazing initiatives. Looking forward to our next collaboration together! 💙

🧁High volume, same signature quality!

While we love our intimate morning teas, catering for larger gatherings like funerals and memorial services requires scale, speed, and plenty of heart.❤️

For this large order, we served up:
✨ 100 Custom Cupcakes (Chocolate, Vanilla, Lemon and Red Velvet)
✨ 4 Trays of Mini Pani Popo (yielding around 96 freshly baked coconut buns)

From small school-run deliveries to feeding large crowds of guests, showing our full range of service while keeping our standards high is what we do best.

Morning tea drop-offs made easy!

A huge thank you to Corinne for having us cater her Principals meetings back in March. It was such a pleasure putting together these two morning tea packages, packed with delicious gluten-friendly and dairy-free options so everyone had something special to enjoy!

Bonus of being a local family business? I was able to hand-deliver these right on my morning school run route before dropping the kids off!

We absolutely loved working with Corinne and can’t wait to cater their next morning tea gathering. Fakaaue lahi for the support! 🌸

Proud moments wrapping up our catering for the King's High School 'Pasifika Welcome' back in March!

🥰As always, it was an absolute joy working alongside Jenny and Kala. Appreciate the opportunity to serve our pasifika community again.

On the menu, we served up our crowd-favourites: lamb curry, chicken chop suey, fluffy rice, fresh garden and coleslaw salads, and those glorious, freshly baked pani-popo buns!

❤️A massive shoutout to our incredible children for stepping up, wearing our branded uniforms with pride, and helping out Mum's business. You all looked the part!

This shift allows us to focus on the details that matter... like our artisan Pani Popo dough and our market-fresh seafood.
