I don't think I've ever used the words "all the feels" but today they seem just right. A very emotional ceremony for a couple who first met as young teens then reconnected years later.
A change of venue due to weather conditions took nothing away from this perfect day and I even broke my own rule and toasted them both along with the guests.
Patu behaved beautifully despite being unimpressed with his bow..and I loved the reading glasses at the ready 'just in case'
Felt very lucky to doing this work today.

October 1st. National Day in China and the perfect choice for Z and Y to marry in New Zealand where they are making the most of the outdoor pursuits they love.
Very emotional day for them both and their witnesses.
Congratulations to both of you and enjoy the rest of your time here. Truly an honour.

Hard to imagine a more picturesque spot for Emma and Dean's archway today. Spot the nesting ducks!
After 18 years and 3 gorgeous boys their vows made the large contingent of family and friends get the tissues out. It's going to be some party tonight!
Very special to be there with you all for this happy family celebration.

There's been a little flurry of tiny weddings lately but today was the last before a little break.
The connections with guests is pretty standard in Dunedin but the main thing in common today was lots of smiles and good wishes for Hannah, Daru and their beautiful daughter.
3 planning meetings to go then time to pack my bag.
