🥔 SPUD DAY 2026 – WHAT A DAY! 🥔

On Sunday we held our annual Spud Day, and once again it delivered the goods! Back in October, many of you were handed a humble spud and a bucket, tasked with planting it and bringing it back in February to be judged — all in the name of raising funds for our Social Club.

Alongside the judging, we ran silent auctions and raffles, which fetched a fantastic result. A huge thank you to everyone who took part, donated, bid, and supported — it all adds up and we’re very grateful 👏

The Concord inn is after a Head Chef/ Chef for our busy restaurant.

We serve the best pub meals and pride ourselves on having the best fish in town- we won "best pub meals" through The HITS radio station- rated by the locals of Dunedin.

This is a full time leadership role with rostered hours/days which can change frequently - you must be able to work weekends days/nights as our kitchen is open 11.30am-8.30pm 7 days a week. Great staff benefits. Competitive hourly rates based on experience. We have just expanded our restaurant, and have more opportunities. KEYS RESPONSIBILTIES : Prepare, cook and present dishes according to our menu. High standards of food hygiene and cleaning. Good communication and Teamwork skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks. Ordering food/supplies.
