We supply outstanding cafés around Canterbury and the South Island, as well as delivering coffee direct to our consumers from the Switch Espresso website. From its beginnings in New Brighton, the roaster has relocated to Middleton, where coffee lovers can drop by and get the freshest brews at the roastery’s Industrie Espresso Bar. We love to push the boundaries of coffee extraction, bringing a range of specialty brew methods and light-roasted single-origins to highlight the diversity of espresso alternatives. We also have an awesome crew of espresso professionals, so give us a call if you’re interested in barista training from our NZSCA-accredited instructor or if your espresso machine needs a tune-up from our top technician.

signofthekiwinz has some of the most beautiful views in Christchurch. Not only that, but they’ve got delicious coffee, passionate staff, amazing locally sourced housemade food, walking tracks close by and little birdies who consider the cafe their own.

The team at Sign of the Kiwi are a true credit to the Devos family, who have really held it down after a tough couple of months. Even through the passing of Eric, the wonderful French owner who many knew and loved, they continue to show up for you and for eachother. If we haven’t already convinced you to go for a visit, let the pictures of a chilly winters morning speak for themselves.

Some inspo for those of you interested- we’ve had some used as dog bed covers, upholstery, a music soundproof room, garden w**d matting, lining cars, putting w**ds and other garden refuse in. What do you use them for? Let us know!
