At Viking coffee we utilise a wide range of technologies to enable us to create delicious coffee consistently . We are not using a clever device called a colour meter which takes that one step further . Essentially we are to derive the outer / inner bean colour differentials that we believe taste the best. What does that mean for roasting ? It enables us to be more consistent through out the year as many roasting variables do change. We can see this data and use it to stay on track. is our tool of choice. You will now see on our website we advertise the colour of each coffee in the Agtron scale. Google it if you would like to learn more . Light / Medium / Dark roast is different so many people / cultures
