Thursday 1st October is Quiz Night, hosted by Nick, kicking off at 7pm. Grab your team, bring your best (and most useless) general knowledge, and know that all proceeds go to The Tailings.

Then on Saturday 3rd October, Second Skin are playing live from 8pm. Dancing shoes essential, and a good excuse to get out of the house after all this rain.

LAST Sunday Roast of the Season – don't miss it!

This is it – the final Sunday Roast of the season, so we're going out with a bang. Nothing beats a proper roast to wrap up the week, and this Sunday we're pulling out all the stops.

Tender Roast Beef with roast potatoes, kumara, pumpkin and carrots, steamed broccoli and cauliflower smothered in a rich cheese sauce, all topped off with plenty of homemade gravy. Proper comfort food, done right.

Settle in by the fire for a sit-down meal, or order yours to take home – either way, your Sunday dinner is sorted. Once it's gone, it's gone until next season, so get in quick.
