Happy Nutty Monday y'all! I heard it's gonna be a fine day in Auckland today. Yesterday we drove from South to North to get a vegan cake and as we were waiting for our cake to get the final touches, we browsed the cabinet for some sweet heavenly nuts. You cannot, for the love of God, avoid these nuts as the caramel roasted aroma drives you mental. Hubby and I were confused on what to try as there was a variety from walnuts,almonds, cashews to hazelnuts and macadamia. The lovely lady serving us told us there was a mix box! Yeap all our problems solved and we opted for that one. The nuts, though coated in caramel and roasted, maintained its true dignity and through that crunch the goodness of the nuts could still be tasted! Love when probs are solved for you. ❤ thanks for the amazing customer service and we will be driving back again once we have finished this lot!

This burnt theme is becoming a thing on my page but who cares when this is my wishful Wednesday! Burnt eggplant🍆more like cooked on bare stove fire🔥served with beautiful nutty silky tahini. Flavours of this pretty dish are heightened by a few drops of lemon,sweet juicy white raisins and crunchy pine nuts. The cauliflower in this dish adds a good balance of texture which makes this a fav for me! Beautiful flavours that you would expect from a modern Greek dish and the plus point- it's vegetarian! 🥗

Was tempted to try this because of .appetite post, and I finally did last night! Don't regret it all and for not being a fan of white chocolate- this was seriously tasteful! Beautiful meringue covering sweet white chocolate and tart passionfruit, this combo is a win on a stick!
