35 years ago, Sukhi and Joanna opened the first Little India restaurant in Dunedin, bringing with them family recipes passed down from Grandmother Premjit’s kitchen in Chandigarh.

Back then, they never imagined where that journey would lead. More restaurants. More communities. More generations of families sharing a meal together.

You came for the Butter Chicken, and you came back for more.

You celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and milestones with us. You joined us on cold winter nights and ordinary Tuesdays that became a family tradition.

From our family to yours, we hope Sukhi's Table gave you a reason to gather.
