This one goes out the amazing staff that was with us to the end.

is the sweetest person, so hard working and was our biggest fan as a customer. She even has a page with pics of our food from year 1! It's been such a treat having her work for us for the last 6 months.

is another raving fan customer who has been coming in since day 1. Her whole family are now like our family and we have massively appreciated their support and passion for our little cafe. She was an awesome worker and scrubbing up to a a pretty good barista!

We also had our lovely neighbour get stuck into the dishes on Saturday and man if there was a talent in doing dishes, this girl has it. She also had a lovely manner with customers and we can see a bright future for her working life.

We even had
smashing out delicious coffees in our last months, that was so special.

Then there's ,she graced our cafe well over qualified, with so much experience in hospitality. The moment we met her, we knew we'd struck gold. Not only is she the hardest worker you'll ever meet, she is so incredibly caring and helpful. Who else stayed behind for around 5 hours after our closure to make sure we didn't have to do all the cleaning and pack up ourselves.
She took care of the cafe puppy, was always very accommodating to the customers and was always looking to be helpful where ever she could. To say we appreciated her isn't enough.

We want to take the time to show a massive appreciation for our out of this world suppliers!

Starting up a business for the first time is so full on but something we're super grateful for is the amazing people that made it that much easier.

from is one of a kind and soooo unbelievably kind. He would drop everything to help ANY time you ask. Not to mention he is one the coolest people we know. We can't thank him enough for his personality and help over the years.

Again, we got so lucky with our cake and slices suppliers and .nz . These ladies are mothers and fricken hard workers. They also do the most exciting and inventive sweet treats you'll find. We are so grateful again how nice they were too, putting up with our last minute orders.
We will miss dealing with these awesome humans.

Have you tried our Matcha before? Well the ladies that are behind the brand we use are super cool. They are so stylish and are all about quality. We have been so lucky to have dealt with them for our amazing Matcha and can't wait to see their brand grow!

One we are the most appreciative for is our almond milk supplier from . Felicity is all the things in one, hard working, very kind and thoughtful, stylish and a wonderful, fun personality. She makes friends everywhere she goes and we have been so fortunate to have her supply our delicious fresh made almond milk.

So if you know anyone that has a cafe or is thinking of starting one up, flick them a message and tell them these are the best of the best.

Tomorrow is our last day open as Cre.ate Cafe.

It has been such an incredible time since we announced our closure, to see how many people loved us and cared. Sometimes it felt like being off the main road and not serving the usual, tradition food made us a less desirable cafe but man have you made us feel special these last 2 weeks.

We truly didn't know we were that adored and despite the sometimes long wait time and running out of certain things, the fact you still loved us and kept coming back has meant the world to us.

Thank you doesn't seem enough right now for all our amazing supporters and gifts but just know we are feeling the love and are so so grateful ❤️

Two more days to go and our reminiscent moments go out to the team that graced our kitchen, coffee machine and till for any space of time and contributed to the Cre.ate Cafe vibe.

We've had some really amazing people come through and help out, even if just for a while.

We've had old friends from previous jobs, to customers that became staff, to absolute stand out chefs that now run their own very successful catering business. We even recruited people we knew from the gym and let's not forget the many contacts of friends or staff who were so amazing, they joined the team very quickly and slotted right in perfectly. We had a chef straight out of culinary school, who really stepped up to the plate and one that was over qualified and taught us so much. The one we kind of took from another cafe, that turned out to be the most incredible worker and kindest human, who we are so grateful to have known.

We just want to take the time to acknowledge how appreciative we are for these people and how much every bit of work they did made an impact greater than they will know.

A trip down memory lane takes us to acknowledge and massively appreciate the OGs.

This team was with us from the start and man was the first year a wild ride!

There would of been no clean dishes or quick wit to keep us laughing on a tough day, without Luke.
Sunday's wouldn't have existed without and doing an amazing job at holding down the fort.
The gorgeous with the biggest heart, always making the best coffees with a smile, no matter how busy and stressful the day is.
The tall man in the back .house constantly trying to get fired but making us laugh along the way.
When it was time for the customers to laugh, that's where Ross came in. His cheesy dad jokes and charm on the till was what kept you coming back.

And then there's , the infectious laugh, the bright light on a dark day, the absolute care and effort into everything she did. She was the face of Cre.ate and with us since week 1. Not only were her barista skills amazing but her personality was one of a kind. We were beyond fortunate to have had her for such a long and wonderful time.

Our next appreciation is for the lovely , who was extremely multi talented.

Alicia was a star barista, server and even chef while working for us but the best of all was her baking!

The lady behind the donuts, tahini blondies, cookies, brownies, all the wonderful baking we served at Cre.ate.

She would whip up the most beautiful, delicious gluten free, vegan and refined sugar free sweet treats a cafe like ours could hope for and we are so grateful for her talents and involvement over the last 3 years ❤

To all our wonderful customers ❤️
The time has come that Create cafe is closing it's doors.
It's bittersweet, as we know you will miss us and we will miss all our lovely customers so much but it's now time for us to focus more on our health and family.

We want to say a very special thank you to each and every one of you that has ever popped in to our little cafe, tucked away from the main road.

There is a very exciting and incredible cafe coming in next month and our last day will be 28/05/22.

To give you the opportunity to enjoy Create as much as possible, we will be bringing back Friday night pizzas, starting tonight! And we will be open every day until we close... yes that includes Sundays!

So if you've always wanted to pop in, we will be here for the next couple of weeks and we'll try to get Ross (your favorite) in so you can enjoy his humor and lovely service.

We're looking forward to making the most of our last few weeks with you Howick, you've been amazing.
