We’re open in Wynyard Quarter! 🥯☕
Last Saturday, we quietly opened the doors to our fourth Goodness Gracious café, tucked into the laneways of Wynyard Quarter.
This opening felt a little different. When we launched our first few stores, we were the new kid on the block. People were curious, media wanted to cover café openings, and the energy around hospitality was at its peak.
Now, nearly 12 years in, we’re a bit more familiar to Aucklanders. Some people know us from Eden Terrace, Parnell, or Takapuna. Some have never been, but have heard of us. And a few of our regulars now live or work nearby - which meant we saw some familiar faces walk through the doors last weekend, bringing their friends and coworkers along. That was special.
One near-by hotel guest even told us the café reminded her of Melbourne. That made our day.
There were no nerves this time. The space felt calm, the service smooth, and the feedback has already been great. It has been a steady start, and we’re excited to see how the neighbourhood continues to respond.
