Today we sold our Cafe!! Last day today. Axis espresso was the third and last cafe that Morgan and I will own. A 12 year rollercoaster in the hospitality fun park! I'm writing this post with a sense of great relief but also a tinge of sadness. It's always been a badge of honour for me to work in hospo and whenever I meet other people who own a hospo business there's immediate respect cos only we know.
It all boils down to people and we have met some corkers along the way. To our fantastic customers who have not only kept us in business but have shared with us their moments of triumph, marriages, Births and deaths. And some great jokes.
Our Staff!! We've been so lucky over the years to share this experience with such great humans. When your knees deep you need people who can handle it. So thank you so much too Helena Skerlj-Rovers who has just put in a nearly 3 year stint with us! Epic!! And these last 3 years have been the tough ones!

You do business with people you like. Thanks to all our suppliers, some of which we used for the whole 12 years. A late bread order can ruin your day!
