The Grape Escape Cafe & Catering has entered into the running for our MediaWorks New Zealand Medium Business Award! The business has been going for so long it's great to see they have realised they should get some public acknowledgement for the backdrop they have provided to so many happy moments and fond memories for their visitors.

If you’re a local you’ve almost certainly been to The Grape Escape Café sited in their own country garden in the Old Factory Corner complex in Appleby (and if you haven't been, why not??). It’s a popular gathering spot to meet friends on the covered deck, or in their garden. Their cakes and slices are pretty amazing plus they use plenty of fresh local produce in their all day menu.

Today marks 1 year of our doors being open as the new owners of The Grape Escape post Covid lockdown level 4 and level 3. May 14 2020 was exciting and apprehensive at the same time! The year has flown by!

Thank you to our wonderful team of staff who have come on this journey with us, we couldn't do it without you.
