Join our team !

As we continue to expand, we seek an Executive General Manager (Daglig leder) to lead our newest ventures' opening and long-term operations. This high-impact leadership role requires a results-driven professional with strategic vision, operational excellence, and deep industry insight.

Role Overview

Under the SoHo Group AS umbrella, the General Manager will be fully responsible for the successful launch, daily operations, and long-term performance of new restaurant concepts. This includes strategic planning, staffing, compliance, financial oversight, and guest satisfaction, with full support from our executive leadership and administrative teams.

Key Responsibilities

-Oversee the end-to-end process of restaurant launch and operational set-up
-Lead recruitment, training, and team development in alignment with company values
-Ensure compliance with Norwegian food safety and alcohol licensing regulations
-Develop and manage operational budgets, payroll, and cost controls
-Drive continuous improvement in service quality, efficiency, and profitability
-Represent the brand to stakeholders, suppliers, and regulatory bodies

PREFFERED Qualifications:

-Minimum 5 years of senior management experience within the restaurant or hospitality industry
-Demonstrated ability to launch and lead successful restaurant operations
-Fluent in English and at least intermediate level Norwegian, both written and verbal
-Etablererprøven and alcohol licence certification (skjenkebevillingprøve) are highly desirable (Support will be provided if not yet obtained)
-Operational prowess and outstanding negotiation and communication skills
-Proven leadership skills with a structured, problem-solving, and hands-on management approach

Preferred Qualifications

-Relevant academic background, preferably a degree in Hospitality Management or Business
-Experience opening a restaurant in Norway and/or restaurant groups abroad
-Deep knowledge and passion for spirits and/or wines (e.g. WSET II and above)
