- runner/dishwasher for the summer and ad hoc

Fresh baguette tradition at our Bistro now. Made with our own sourdough starter, imported French T65 flour and baked here. No yeast.

After my trip to Bordeaux I had to have them! 😃

Hi all,

After a pause in January Gamlemessa Bistro is opening the Friday the 6th of February and will be open in February three days a week this month. We will slowly open more days as the weather gets better.

So what's new for this year?
- French Bistro menu including more regional french dishes and easier handling for our small kitchen in order to improve waiting times
- We will change the menu every month!
- Once every month we will have special evening with a delicious set menu. Five courses giving you the opportunity to taste some traditional and regional French dishes you might not have heard of. Reservations are required
- Once every month we will have a winetasting event which I am coordinating with Sebastian Bredal. There will be wines and food to be enjoyed! Reservations are required.

Of course Arne's Fiskesuppe will stay on the menu. 😀

Hope you will continue to come to Gamlemessa Bistro and enjoy the atmosphere and food.

We are closed in January due to desperate need of some holiday :)

God Jul alle sammen!!!!

From today will we be closed till the end of December.

The last 2 days of December 30 and 31 we will be open and of course celebrate the end of a wonderful year.

All of January we will be closed as I need a bit of a holiday and we will be doing some upgrades to Gamlemessa. When we open up again is not sure yet. But I will let everyone know.

Have a great Christmas holiday everyone and do not hesitate to walk down on the 30th, especially 31st. We will be open till the early hours on new Years day.
