Beyond Books is organizing an evening featuring author Hashem Abdi [Hashem Abdi] as part of his book tour in the Netherlands.

From 20:00 to 22:00, the evening will include a moderated conversation about his work, identity, and storytelling, followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

This event is hosted by Beyond Books, a literary community based in the Netherlands that brings readers together through book discussions, author talks, and cultural events.

But What About Sessions is back on Thu 2 July, 20:00–00:00 ⭐️

An intimate evening of music, experimentation, and community is coming to The Hague. 🎵 This collective initiative by Vincent and Wilco focuses on creating interactive spaces for shared curiosity and improvisation.

This version of But What About Sessions include Share a Folk Song and Ear to the Earth Ensemble.

A global vocal journey with Share a Folk Song: a group that comes together every month to sing songs from different regions of the world. After a shared warm-up, we dive into songs from all over the globe: from Spanish to Japanese, from Persian to Ukrainian. Everyone is welcome and no singing experience is needed. Feel free to bring your instrument!

Then a whimsical, interactive preview of the children's musical performance Weerwerk by Ear to the Earth Ensemble. Ruth Mareen and Porter Ellerman take you into a funny musical world where cactuses sing, rain falls and your help is urgently needed!

Join us at The Grey Space from June 18th to June 20th for Watching Machines: Life under Algorithmic Eyes. This three-day exhibition and public programme brings together four years of research from the Security Vision project to explore how algorithmic vision shapes visibility, behavior, and suspicion. The event features captivating short films, interactive installations, and a public program of panel discussions with policy makers, activists, and researchers.

Last Friday we had Muse turning our space into an exhibition and club night, showcasing artworks of various disciplines from an opencall.

At the Grey Space anything is possible and we loved seeing art and electronic music coming together.

We love having But What About over at The Grey Space and on the 2nd of July, from 20:00 to 00:00 they bring an intimate evening of music, experimentation and good company!

But What About is a Hague-based band and initiative with a broad, colourful vision. Together with their audience they explore and reflect on the world around them.
