‘Het Nieuwe Café’ is the vibrant heart of Rotterdam innovative museum ‘Het Nieuwe Instituut’ with the best terrace in town. Working at Het Nieuwe Café means working on a beautiful location where no day is the same. We are open from Tuesday to Sunday for oatmilk-coffee’s, vegetarian lunches and bites. We also cater a variety of events which take place in Het Nieuwe Instituut and this summer we also have the summer terrace to be!
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for an experienced floormanager to strengthen our team that is a real problem solver, has leadership qualities and knows that teamwork makes the dreamwork. You get a kick out of making the experience of our guests as good as possible.
Are you our new floormanager, who:
Has experience in taking the lead and train a team of people in a cafe or restaurant
Has a broad knowledge of hospitality, products and hygiene
Loves a dynamic work environment where no day is the same and things can change quickly
Has an eye for sales
* Is practical-minded and solution-oriented
* Understands that communication is key
* Dares to take up responsibility
* Want to work 4+ days, one of which is in the weekend.
