Kopi Luwak, the most exclusive coffee in the world! Exclusively for sale, our by . We have an own plantation at Bali.
‘Kopi’ is the Indonesian word for coffee and ‘Luwak’ is the local name for a Civet cat. The raw coffee berries are the favorite food for the Civet cat, who is very selective in choosing which berries to eat. The animal chooses only the most ripe, tastiest berries!
After the Luwak has swallowed the berries, they enter the digestive tract where the unique combinations of stomach enzymes break down the proteins that give coffee its bitter taste. The core of the berries are the coffee beans, they remain intact and are collected from the cat's f***s, then dried and lightly roasted to maintain their complex flavor. The enzyme creates an excellent source of antioxidants, which have a number of additional health benefits.
The coffee berries grow wild in nature and fall from the tree by themselves, at our reserve. Civet cats eat these berries at night, as they naturally do. That makes our Kopi Luwak 100% natural and Luwak-friendly!

Finally thé moment has come; next Wednesday the 12th of January our own Original Kopi Luwak Green Beans will be roasted by the roasting company where we work with.
Than, from Thursday the 13th of January our own unique brand of Kopi Luwak will be available. (The current Kopi Luwak in our shop is roasted in Bali).
So, what is so special about our Kopi Luwak? Well, we buy unroasted beans from Bali; so called ‘Green Beans’. Than, our roasting- partner is finding the best roasting profile for the bean, by using a high-end computer managed roasting machine. They make sure the beans are suitable with a Barista machine and full-automatic machine. This is why we can say we have the best Kopi Luwak in the world.

15 maart 2022 staan wij in de winkel bij Albert Heijn de Wolf Rotterdam van De Wolf Retail Rotterdam. Die dag, opent deze Albert Heijn in Hillegersberg Rotterdam na een totale renovatie haar deuren en tijdens deze grootse opening, mogen wij uitgebreid aanwezig zijn en presenteren én schenken wij onze Shonora Excellent Specialty koffie én ons eigen nieuwe merk Kopi Luwak by Rich. Exclusive. Coffee. Wij zijn Albert Heijn de Wolf heel erg dankbaar voor deze kans.
Wij staan er die dag met een barista machine, onze hervulbare koffiecups, cafetière en Shonora koffie en Kopi Luwak, om de klanten van de AH die dag de koffie te laten proeven op verschillende manieren én te laten kopen. Onze producten zijn namelijk bij deze Albert Heijn vanaf die dag te koop.
