Get ready to glitter! 🪩🌈

On July 16th from 22:00-3:00, Disco Cats are back at Het Alternatief, and they’re bringing the chaos in the best possible way. Expect disco bangers from the strangest corners of the galaxy, an electrifying Italo set by Jan Liefhebber, and Hayco who lit the dance floor on fire last year (figuratively, we promise). With the fabulous Jenny Rose hosting the madness, it’s going to be a night of pure disco delirium. Don’t miss it! ✨

First Saturday of Zomerfeesten, July 12! We've got two local bands out of Gelderland we can't get enough of. ☀️

Come check out Chauffeur at 23:00 for some post-hardcore, noise, and punk from Arnhem. 🚌

At 00:00 lend your ears to Lodyne out of Nijmegen, for some loud post-hardcore with an emo twist. 🦻🏻

As always, free entry, consumptie verplicht. 🍻

Het Alternatief will be closed briefly from June 18-22. That means no jam sessions or events this week. We'll be open again on Wednesday the 25th with our normally scheduled jam session. 🎵

This Saturday, April 5! 🎵 We've got some sick bands ready to shred starting at 21:00.

🧠 Brain Damage is a punk-hardcore band from the vibrant city of Heerlen, founded in the summer of 2024. Drawing inspiration from iconic bands like Madball and Terror and the punk influences of Fidlar.

🎸 D’r Neffe is a band from (mainly) Brabant. Their sound is energetic and rough.

👔 Proper originates from a collaboration between frontman of the punk band Orde Primates and hiphop producer Ben Jur. As a duo they made the first EP ‘nep leer’ which came out early 2023.
A few months later a live act was put together and the band was formed.

🌞 Lazy Sundayz are here! 🌞

We still got the games out for ya on Sundays, but feel free to bring your crochet project you haven't finished 🧶 or play your old Gameboy 🎮 or journal ✍🏼 or read that book collecting dust on your shelf 📖 or get some work done 💻

Starting today, every Sunday we have coffee and tea for just €1,50. ☕🍵 Are you a coffee or tea person?

Come hang with us in our "living room" while we play some chill tunes and get ready for the week ahead. 🛋️ As always, we open at 17:00. Feel free to bring your own snacks, your own consoles to hook up, your art supplies & your friends!

This Friday! 🎛️ Check out our Mini Rave from 23:00 to 3:00. We got Reezist spinning some funky house tunes (and more) until 1:00, and afterwards we have N1GHT 0WL coming in with some nightcore, hardstyle, etc to get us bouncing. 🪩
