That is why Liquidseal’s South America Manager Rembert Duarte recently visited Colombia. Rembert was there to articulate and implement Liquidseal’s sustainable and biodegradable coatings together with Purchasing Manager Israel Molina.
He visited Jumbo’s branch Calle 80 in Bogota where the first papayas with Liquidseal were placed and exhibited.
Excitingly, Jumbo Colombia is already using Liquidseal to extend the shelf-life of papayas, taking a significant step in preventing food wastage and become an example worth to follow.

Samen met de hele leveringsketen zet ook Liquidseal zich in voor minder voedselverspilling. Bedankt voor de organisatie Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling !

🌍 Niet alleen consumenten zetten zich in tegen voedselverspilling, ook veel bedrijven, kennisinstellingen en publieke organisaties zetten zich in om voedselverspilling met 50% te verminderen.

💚 Zo was er op 22 juni het inspirerende en hoopgevende Stichting Samen Tegen Voedselverspilling Stakeholder Event. Veel nieuwe ontwikkelingen, uitdagingen en oplossingen rondom een voedselsysteem kwamen aan bod. Van het meten van voedselverspilling in je onderneming tot het tegengaan van verspilling bij de consumenten thuis. Van dilemma’s rondom duurzame verpakkingen tot samen de spelregels veranderen. En van samenwerking met het onderwijs tot integraal overheidsbeleid. Samen met de hele keten zetten we ons in voor een duurzamer, circulair voedselsysteem en gaan we voor 50% minder voedselverspilling in 2030!

Dank aan alle aanwezigen én de bijzondere sprekers 🎤 En laten we niet de studenten van vergeten die heerlijke verspillingsvrije hapjes verzorgden 👩🏽‍🍳
