BetterBagels opened its doors on the Lange Mare in Leiden 14 years ago and is now a household name under bagel lovers.
It is the oldest BagelShop in the Netherlands that makes real New Yok-style bagels that are hand-rolled and boiled before they are baked. This gives the bagels their irresistible unique chewy mouthfeel. BetterBagels offers many different bagel sandwiches, including vegetarian, vegan and (celiac proof) glutenfree options.
