🇳🇱 A little piece of Holland… made entirely by hand 💙
This cake may look delicate and effortless, but behind it are many, many hours of work.
Every detail was created by hand — from shaping the tiny Dutch klompen, to making the sugar tulips, and finally painting all those delicate Delft Blue details one brushstroke at a time. 🎨💙
No prints. No ready-made decorations. Just tiny brushes, edible colours, a steady hand… and quite a lot of patience. 😅
And that’s the exciting (and slightly stressful!) part of creating a cake like this: you can prepare, measure and plan everything, but in the end every little element has to come together perfectly on one cake.
Made to celebrate a very special 70th birthday, with a little Dutch tradition turned into something sweet. 🇳🇱🌷
