Three years of Lief 🥹🤍

Did you know that a large percentage of restaurants don’t make it to year three? Studies across Europe suggest that roughly 30-60% close within their first three years. This industry is beautiful, but it is also relentless.

Early mornings. Late nights. Constant problem solving. Financial stress. Long hours on your feet. Showing up even when you’re exhausted.
So reaching our third birthday feels huge.

Lief was never just about coffee and food. It was about creating a little corner where people feel seen, safe and welcome. And the truth is, we would not be here without our team, our regulars, the friends who stepped in during the chaos, the suppliers who trusted us, and every single person who chose to walk through our door.

To my team: you are the heart of this place. Your kindness, humour and care carry Lief every single day.
To our customers: thank you for choosing us for your meetings, your quiet mornings, your chaos with kids, your celebrations and your comfort days.
To everyone who supported us behind the scenes during the hard seasons, especially when the hustle felt heavier than the dream, thank you.
