Every day feels like a small celebration. A new discovery, a different scent, another colour or flavour at its peak.

Some collaborations don’t start over. They find their way back to each other.

We are proud to welcome Ivanildo Kamperveen as chef of GEM. Soenil and Ivanildo share a history in the kitchen, having worked together before, with their paths later crossing again at Parc Broekhuizen, where Soenil was involved as culinary mentor.

They know each other’s rhythm, standards and way of thinking - often without many words needed.

Now, their paths come together once again. Soenil as Patron, Ivanildo as chef. A new chapter built on years of shared history, trust and understanding.

A day where everything came together.
Love, family, friendship and a place that means so much to us.

From a beautiful and deeply personal ceremony to a long lunch in the garden. From the smallest details, created with so much care, to an evening filled with celebration, music and dancing. Every moment carried its own meaning, together becoming the day we had dreamed of.
A day to celebrate love. To gather the people closest to us. To enjoy, to laugh, to raise our glasses and, above all, to create memories that will stay with us forever.
Looking back, we feel nothing but gratitude.

To every single person and every wonderful party who contributed their time, talent, craftsmanship and heart to making this day what it became: thank you. You each added something special to a day we will never forget.

A DREAM SEALED IN LOVE. 🤍
Yesterday, Soenil & Annu lived the day they had dreamed of for so long. Their fairytale wedding. A celebration of everything they are together, surrounded by those closest to them - and above all, the sealing of a love that already felt infinite.

A first glimpse, captured in the smallest details. Because sometimes, it is there that the grandeur of a day reveals itself most beautifully.

In the days to come, we will slowly unveil more of this extraordinary day.
For now, just a glimpse of a dream that became reality. ✨

What a beautiful season it has been.

We’re taking a short break to rest, recharge and find new inspiration. Restaurant GEM will be closed from 23 August through 10 September.

We’ll use this time to create, refine and prepare new dishes and menus for the season ahead.

Thank you for all your support, your visits and the wonderful moments we’ve shared.

We look forward to welcoming you back soon.
