THE END OF A CHILDHOOD ERA
SIES MAN! This one hurts.
We are sad to announce that PRONUTRO HAS BEEN DISCONTINUED.
Another piece of our South African childhood is gone.
Pronutro was never just cereal. It was the answer to everything:
“Mamma, I’m hungry.”
“Go get yourself a bowl of Pronutro.”
Breakfast? Pronutro.
Lunch? Pronutro.
Dinner? Why not!
Warm milk or cold milk? Now THAT was a family debate.
Some added sugar. Some ate it dry. Some probably still have the perfect way of making it.
But we all knew that familiar bowl of Pronutro.
REST IN PEACE, PRONUTRO.
You were a childhood staple, a cupboard classic and a little taste of home.
Another South African icon bites the dust.
