"You know what they call a Quarter Pounder with Cheese in Paris?"
Two hitmen, a boxer who won't take a dive, a gangster's wife and a mysterious briefcase, all tangled up in one long, out-of-order weekend in Los Angeles. This time we're going for something a bit more "mainstream" arthouse. Pulp Fiction won the Palme d'Or in Cannes, made John Travolta a star for the second time, and got half the world quoting Samuel L. Jackson.
A fun bit of local trivia: Tarantino wrote a big chunk of the script in Amsterdam. That's why Vincent Vega keeps going on about hash bars and Dutch people drowning their fries in mayo.
This one should be really fun to watch together. Fair warning: it runs 2.5 hours (154 minutes), and it's 16+ for good reason. Over thirty years later, let's see if it still holds up.
