PRETTY, UGLY, TASTY.

We’re so excited to welcome Hale back to Belly Pepper! Together with our own Chef Esra Acar Koç , they’ve created a special menu for another unforgettable evening.

There will be pretty things, the unapologetically ugly, and things that are simply too tasty to care about how they look.

Because some of the best things on a Turkish table were never designed for a beauty contest anyway.

Think ciğer sarma — caul fat wrapped around spiced rice and liver. Or good old Turkish kuru fasulye, a humble white bean stew, except this time with confit duck leg. And because apparently it has to end both pretty and tasty, şöbiyet to finish.

A huge shoutout to our coffee heroes at rum baba coffeeroasters ! 🤎

We’re grateful not only for the amazing coffee beans they supply us with, but also for always having our backs when technical issues arise.

It was a great honor for us to curate and prepare the menu for the dinner hosted by Ambassador Fatma Ceren Yazgan in The Hague, celebrating the rich history and cultural significance of Türkiye and Turkish cuisine.

Inspired by the seven geographical regions of Türkiye and their mythological stories, we created a seven-course tasting menu, with each course reflecting the unique flavors, traditions, and heritage of a different region.
