☺️Onze Tagliatelle alla Siciliana ontstonden 11 jaar geleden in Amsterdam, bijna per toeval… door een reeks toevalligheden en dankzij de ingrediënten die ik die dag in mijn voorraadkast vond.

Uit dat moment ontstond één van de iconische gerechten van Vicio Il Mastro Pastaio, een bord dat een verhaal vertelt van herinneringen en authentieke Siciliaanse smaken.

Our Tagliatelle alla Siciliana were born in Amsterdam 11 years ago, almost by chance… from a series of coincidences and the ingredients I found in my pantry that day.

That intuition became one of the iconic dishes of Vicio Il Mastro Pastaio — a plate that tells a story of memory and authentic Sicilian flavors.

Wij zijn vereerd dat wij de erkenning voor Italiaanse authenticiteit hebben ontvangen van de Camera di Commercio Italiana per l’Olanda tijdens een officiële ceremonie die gewijd is aan Italiaanse restaurants die met passie de echte Italiaanse traditie in de wereld vertegenwoordigen.

Een speciale dank aan voorzitter Roberto Payer en secretaris-generaal Nicoletta Brondi voor het overhandigen van deze voor ons zeer belangrijke onderscheiding.

Dat wij zijn opgemerkt vanwege onze authentieke Siciliaanse keuken, onze handgemaakte pasta, het respect voor traditionele recepten en het gebruik van Italiaanse en Siciliaanse ingrediënten die vaak moeilijk verkrijgbaar zijn in Nederland, maakt ons ontzettend trots.

Elke dag proberen wij naar Amsterdam niet alleen gerechten te brengen, maar ook een echt stukje Sicilië, met zijn tradities en zijn ziel.
