Last year I saw Mrs chioma selling eggs, and I was surprised.

I asked myself, Why is Mrs. Chioma selling eggs? Why doesn't she invest in layer chickens and produce the eggs herself? She earns more than I do.

At that time, I believed that owning poultry birds was the only way to succeed in the egg business.

So, I invested in poultry production.

Unfortunately, during the hot season, I lost a lot of birds. The experience was painful and costly.

Then I remembered Mrs. Chioma.

She had chosen to start by selling eggs. She understood the market, built a customer base, generated steady income, and reduced many of the risks that come with poultry production.

That experience taught me an important lesson:

You don't always have to start with production. Sometimes, it's wiser to start with marketing and distribution first.

Before investing heavily in any business, understand the market, build customers, and learn the system.

Thank you, Mrs. Chioma, for teaching me a lesson I didn't understand at the time.
