I’ve been trying to lose weight for a while now, but if I’m being honest, I wasn’t serious about it.
One week I’m in the gym, the next week I’ve disappeared.
I don’t drink alcohol, so my “safe space” was carbonated drinks, coke, to be precise. I would promise myself, “No sugar for one month”, but that same evening, I’d be gulping a very chilled coke like nothing happened. Don’t even get me started on rice, I love it!
That was my lifestyle until something happened. I went for a test, got my results and everything changed. This wasn’t a case of I rejected the results(the spiricoco in me😂).I even went for a second opinion.
It took a doctor’s report to finally change my lifestyle. I’m I there yet? Nahhhhh! But, I’m definitely not going back. I’m taking it one step at a time even if it takes a year.
