• Calling someone “hey fine girl” repeatedly after they’ve ignored you
• Touching someone to get their attention without consent
• Blocking someone’s path to force a conversation
• Following someone after they’ve clearly shown disinterest
• Staring at someone continuously in a way that makes them uncomfortable
• Making sexual comments or “jokes” in public
• Pressuring someone for their number after they’ve said no
• Grabbing, brushing against, or groping in crowded places
• Using your position (driver, rider, etc.) to make someone feel unsafe

Let’s be honest, these things happen on our streets every day. We’ve seen them happen so often… we’ve started calling them normal.

But they are not normal.
They are forms of harassment.
And are UNACCEPTABLE BEHAVIOURS

From April 12th to 18th, I’ll be part of International Anti-Street Harassment Week 2026, and I’m inviting you to join too.

This is about:
• Challenging these unacceptable behaviours
• Learning how to respond as bystanders
• Reflecting on how we may have enabled or overlooked harassment/harm
• Taking action to make our communities safer

It’s free, and you can participate from anywhere in the world.

👉 Register here:

Once you sign up, you’ll get access to ways you can participate in your own space, in your own way.

Zero Street Harassment starts with us.
Safer Streets won’t happen by chance.
We build them. We can do better. Together.

Today,
Let us remember the blessing of having friends who share our burning passions,
zeal, convictions, and persuasions in God’s plan. And the responsibility to be that kind of friend as well. Let us commit to encouraging one another, walking side by side, and pointing one another toward the sacred possibilities opened up in our worlds for our obedience of faith.

Much love and always 💜

Safer cities don’t happen by accident. They are built, and in this case, with data.

The Global Data Challenge (GDC) 2026 by Red Dot Foundation Global invites students and young changemakers to use ethical, crowdsourced data to tackle sexual and gender-based violence (SGBV) in public spaces.

The Global Data Challenge 2026 is scheduled for 12th February - 6th March.

Through the SafeCity platform, real stories are anonymously mapped to reveal patterns, unsafe locations, and gaps in protection, - turning lived experiences into tools for action.

▪️If you’re 18+, a university student, recent graduate, or data-curious advocate, this challenge is for you.
