My Flat Tummy Chronicles

Day 1: (Saturday)

I'm standing in front of my mirror, tying waist trainer, “I’m working out for a flat tummy. I must see abs this year!”

I walked into the kitchen holding a cucumber and a boiled egg, "I'm on a diet. No carbs, no oil, no enjoyment." I bit some quantity, "Hmm, this egg don see me tire."

At my friend's owambe, same day... staring longingly at a buffet, "gosh! I don't like my body size. I’ll eat less." My bestie hands over a plate of fried rice, pepper meat, and fried plantain.
Me looking at my tummy in my fine dress, "Babes, no tempt me."

My Bestie:
"Na just small na..."

Me: This small will not cause big tummy after all my eating at home is 0-1-0 meal plan (no breakfast, lunch only, no dinner)

My Stomach (growling at midnight):
"You think say I be rechargeable battery?"

Me: complaining to my sister, lying on the floor with hunger, "babes, check my belle, I dey gain weight abi? Na straight fasting I go do from now till December."

My Sister (laughing, handing her puff-puff):
"My dear, chop food o... Na belle you get, you no kill person!"

Me, (eyes rolling): Abi oooooo
