I live in a street where I feel business are more than the customers.
Example we have fashion shops more than 12, provisions shops like 10, talkless of salons, I just can't count them.
Sometimes when passing by I usually wonder if they make saless or get jobs enough to take care of their monthly expenses.
But there is this hair stylist that doesn't take chances, she does something that opened my eyes to being strategic and intentional about business.
She observed that the hair stylist are more than customers in her street, so she became very friendly with almost everyone, if she's sees you loosing your she'll engage you in a conversation asking you questions like, you want to make your hair?, Or you want to retouch? Like she just becomes interested in your next hair move and Las las you'll either wash your hair, weave or anything you want to do with your hair with her.
Now I am aware that people have specific hair stylist or someone who just gets their hair done neatly or maybe someone they can trust with their hair but this lady just makes sure you at least wash your hair with her and there is never a time her shop is empty.
So while we are waiting for God to bless the works of our hands, I think we have a part to play.
Go out and meet that customer, engage your neighbours in business conversations, ask them their next birthday or just any conversation that might lead to you making sales or closing a deal.
