Being an online vendor does NOT mean I should accept every form of disrespect or unreasonable demand from customers. 😤
I honestly don’t understand when “I’m scared of being scammed” suddenly becomes “send your goods all the way to Lagos, let me collect them first, then I’ll give your money to the driver to bring back to you.”
Please, how does that make sense? 🤦🏽♀️
I understand that customers want to protect themselves, and that is completely fine. But BUSINESS is a two-way street. You cannot demand that I take 100% of the risk simply because you found me online.
I have built Alysfoodmart with years of hard work, trust, consistency and genuine customers. I have nothing against anyone asking questions or wanting reassurance before making payment. But there is a BIG difference between being cautious and expecting a business owner to put herself and her goods at unreasonable risk.
And let me say this clearly: being an online vendor does not mean I will take rubbish from customers.
I respect my customers, and I expect that same respect in return. ❤️
If you don’t trust my business enough to make a purchase, that’s okay. You are absolutely free to walk away. But please don’t make unreasonable demands and expect me to accept them just because I want your money.
Respectfully, I would rather lose a sale than lose my peace. 🙏🏽
