So, I was driving home from work, my lunch of Tofu Kung Pao with Basmati rice was still in my bag, having not had time to eat. All of a sudden I felt like having authentic Nigerian beef stew, the Nigerian in me kicked alive, mehn! One thing about the area I stay, that gives me joy, are the small markets all around with parking space.. I stopped at one of them, got
50% tatase (bell peppers very red)
40% red firm fresh tomatoes
5% rodo (scotch bonnet)
Onions 5 to 10%
Drove home, added some ginger and garlic, blended, reduced, sautΓ©ed my onions, added in the reduced blend, added in beef seitan, and some tofu, in 30 minutes or less I was busy gazoling down. I really enjoyed it. Tasted like buka stewππΎπ―ππ€©Ahn ahn, for a while now, I had been on oyibo food, kilode..
Tomorrow I'm having it with ewedu, I have some remaining from a client's order, it's going downnn.
Is the Nigerian in you yelling?, what are you craving..
