1. Free Fatty Acid( FFA)
2. Acid Value( AV)
3.Iodine Value(AV)
4. Peroxide Value ( PV). This Is The Chief Determinant Parameter.
A Freshly Refined Palm Oil Has A Very Low Numerical Values Of The Aforementioned Parameters As Assigned By The Nigerian Industrial Standard, NIS. Such Refined Palm Oil With Low Analytical Parameters Values Can Be Safely Stored Up To One Year And Six Months.
