Sometimes, a simple cup of tea travels farther than we imagine.
A friend called me one day “Please, I want to surprise my girlfriend...”
Simple request. Not-so-simple logistics.
I was in Jos.
He was in Kano.
His girlfriend was in Zaria.
The tea was resting peacefully in Kaduna, minding its business.
Nigeria said, “Let’s see how serious this love is.” 😭
So I did what any reasonable person would do—I activated my village people… aka my sister.
I sent instructions.
She moved.
She delivered.
Love prevailed. 💪🏽
And when the package arrived, it wasn’t just tea that showed up—it was intention, effort, and that sweet handwritten note.
Moral of the story?
Tea connects people.
Love finds a way.
And sometimes, logistics is the real love language. ☕❤️
